1) Open Eudora.
2) From the Tools menu, select Options.
3) Under Category, click on Getting Started.

4) In the POP Account text box, type your e-mail address. (For example: memberid@earthwave.net)
5) In the Real name text box, type your name.
6) In the Return Address text box, type your e-mail address. (For example: memberid@earthwave.net)
7) Under Category, select Hosts.

8) In the SMTP text box, type smtp.earthwave.net

9 ) Under Category, scroll down to Advanced Network and select it.

10) Set Network open timeout to 900 seconds.
11) Set Network timeout after to 900 seconds.
12) Ensure that Cache network info is unchecked.
13) Click OK to exit.
