1) Open Netscape Messenger.

2) From Edit menu select Preferences.

3) Click the + next to Mail & Groups and select Identity.

4) In the Your Name text box, type your name.
5) In the Your Email text box, type your e-mail address. (For example: memberid@earthwave.net)

6) Under Mail & Groups, select Mail Server.

7) Under Incoming Mail Servers, click once on Mail to highlight it.
8) Click on the Edit button.

9) In the Server Name text box, type in: pop.earthwave.net
10) In the Server Type text box, select POP3 Server.
11) In the User Name text box, type in your earthwave.net Member ID.
12) Select the POP tab.

13) Ensure that Leave messages on server is NOT checked.
14) Click OK.

15) In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server text box, type in smtp.earthwave.net
16) In the Outgoing mail server user name text box, leave it blank.
17) Under Use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or TLS for outgoing messages, select Never.
18) Click OK to exit.
