Common Solution

Connectivity :

Most connectivity issues are solved by rebooting the computer and/or by powering on and off the router.


Email Help

General support hours are from 8:30am to 6:30pm EST.


1) Open Outlook Express.



2) From the Tools menu, select Accounts.



3) Click on the Add button and select Mail.



4)In the Display name text box, type your name.
5) Click Next.



6) In the E-mail address text box, type your e-mail address. (For example: memberid@earthwave.net)
7) Click Next.



8) From the My incoming mail server is drop-down menu, select POP3.
9) In the Incoming mail (POP or IMAP) server text box, type pop.earthwave.net
10) In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server text box, type smtp.earthwave.net
11) Click Next.



12) Check the circle next to Log on using:.


Warning! Do not select Log on using Secure Password Authentication.


13) In the POP account name text box, type your entire email address . (Note: your memberid must all be lower case.)

14) In the Password text box, type your password. (Note: your password is case-sensitive.)
15) Click Next.



16) In the Internet mail account name text box, type earthwave.net Mail. (Note: You can name this anything you want.)
17) Click Next.



18) Check the circle next to Connect using my local area network (LAN).
19) Click Next.



20) Click on the Finish button to save your settings.
